Chemical Ecology of Pollination

Welcome to the Raguso Lab at Cornell!
My students and I study complex insect-plant interactions, especially pollination, as mediated through the ancient idiom of chemistry. Our research explores the rich interface between behavior, physiology and ecology, and we study signal evolution from the standpoints of both producer (plants) and receiver (insects). Cornell played a prominent role in the establishment of chemical ecology as a field, and remains one of the premier centers for its study globally. Please visit us!
