Speaker Guidelines: It should be as much a discussion as a talk--between an informal lab meeting and a formal departmental seminar. Keep prepared material short (30-40 mins) so that you can interact with an inquisitive audience. The fall semester presentations are based on topics generally agreed upon at the organizational meeting; the spring talks are based on your own research.
