Welcome to "State of the Planet"! Below is informaiton on what you will need for the course.

  • Readings and Textbook.

    Reading assignments will be available through the Blackboard site.

    The text for the course is:State of the Planet by Donald Kennedy and the editors of Science.
    Published by Island Press

  • Clicker

    We will be using the iClicker.

    Please bring your clicker to every class.

    To Register Your i-clicker:

    1. After purchasing clicker, log on to CIT website
    2. Under "For Students", click on "Clicker Registration".
    3. Enter the device ID found on the back of the i-clicker.

    BlackBoard Registration

    To enroll in the course blackboard site:

    1. Log on to your blackboard account
    2. Click on the "All Blackboard Sites" tab.
    3. Search for "State of the Planet" under the course search option.
    4. Click the "Enroll" button next to the State of the Planet course.

  • Credit Hours. You can take the class for 2 credits, or add a discussion section and receive 3 credits. More information on section meeting dates and times wil be posted soon.
